The mission of the UDI Business Resource Center (UDI BRC) is to empower historically disadvantaged and low-asset community-based entrepreneurs by instilling in them business techniques, expanding cooperative partnerships, and cultivating job creation and retention in the Durham, North Carolina corridor.

The facility also serves as a resource center for small/minority contractors assisting them to become competitive in the construction industry.

UDI BRC is home to Operation Breakthrough, Inc. and business training classes conducted by North Carolina Central University / Community Economic Development Initiative. (NCCU/CEDI)

YouthBuild – Job and educational programs for ages 16-24 in areas such as GED training and construction.

NCCU/CEDI – business classes with an emphasis on social entrepreneurship.
